On July 10, the  European Commission adopted its decision to adapt the EU-US Data Privacy Framework Program. The adequacy decision, which entered into force on the same day, concludes that the United States guarantees an adequate level of protection compared to that of the EU of personal data transferred from the European Union to US companies that participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework
