The Department of Labor (DOL) recently issued a new rule Regarding Employee Classification that may impact employers within the healthcare industry. The new rule promulgated by the DOL gives updated guideposts on proper classifications of independent contractors and employees and will make it more difficult to classify workers as independent contractors. Click here to read more about the new rule.
