Juan Manuel is a partner at Consortium Legal – Costa Rica with more than 21 years of experience in the private sector. He specializes in real estate law, corporate law and mergers & acquisitions. He has led the planning and structuring of multiple real estate developments, the due diligence and acquisitions of land & concessions, complex leases, the constitution & modification of condominium regimes, sale and purchase of hotels, anti-trust filings, commercial and touristic developments, the processing of permits for real estate, corporate and infrastructure projects, the negotiation and draft of construction contracts, as well as the planning and execution of corporate restructurings of national and multinational companies.

During his career, he was paralegal and junior attorney at the law firm Central Law Costa Rica, and Senior Underwriter & Legal Manager at Stewart Title Latin America.
