Professional experience

Assistance and consultancy in civil and commercial law matters in general to Italian and foreign companies operating in the financial, insurance, energy, health care sectors and in general in industry and commerce.

In particular and among others:
– advice and consultancy in civil, commercial and bankruptcy law in general; drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts in general;
– assistance in corporate reorganization operations, mergers and acquisitions, drafting and negotiation of acquisition contracts, shareholders’ agreements; real estate transactions;
– consultancy in the implementation of legislative and regulatory provisions, including models 231/2001 and company procedures and policies;
– assistance in the internationalization process of companies;
– advice and consultancy in financial law, consultancy in the implementation of legislative and regulatory provisions, in relations with the competent authorities and Italian and foreign financial intermediaries; securitization operations pursuant to Law 130/99 and subsequent amendments;
– advice and consultancy to insurance companies and intermediaries operating in Italy (EU and non-EU), in the reorganization of international groups active in Italy in insurance and reinsurance, to Italian and foreign intermediaries operating in Italy, with reference to bank-insurance relationships before and after the Private Insurance Code, in matters of access under the regime of establishment and freedom to provide services, registration with the RUI, in the negotiation of bancassurance contracts, in matters of claims, transfer of insurance portfolios, in the day-to-day activities of Italian and foreign insurance companies and intermediaries.

Associations

Member of AIDA – International Association of Insurance Law; IBA – International Bar Association – where he currently holds the position of Vice Chair of the Insurance Committee. Assistant Professor of Insurance Law at the Faculty of Economics and Commerce, University of Rome “La Sapienza” (2007/2008 – 2017/2018). He was an assistant professor of Private Law at the Faculty of Economics and Commerce (2008/2009-2011/2012), and History of Roman Law, at the Faculty of Law (1993-1994), always at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
