Has your company been registered originally in the Commercial Register of District Court Bratislava I or District Court Košice I? If so, you have most likely received a message in your data mailbox informing you of the change of the respective register court. We want to remind you and add that starting 01. 06. 2023, your contracts, business letters, orders, invoices, or any other business documents should have quoted the name of the court maintaining the commercial register, where your company is incorporated.
In practice, this means that the following changes need to be made to your documents:
Original wording:
Company registered in the Commercial Register of District Court Bratislava I
Company registered in the Commercial Register of District Court Košice I
New wording:
Company registered in the Commercial Register of Municipal Court Bratislava III
Company registered in the Commercial Register of Municipal Court Košice
This change does not concern companies registered in the commercial registers maintained by the courts in Banská Bystrica, Nitra, PreÅ¡ov, TrenÄÃn, Trnava, or Žilina.
You can check which register court is competent for you at the official website of the Slovak Commercial Register.
Should you have any questions regarding the impending change, do not hesitate to contact us.
