Nelson Mullins announces membership with the National Council on Problem Gambling

ATLANTA – Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP is pleased to announce its recent membership with the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to mitigating gambling-related harm. The partnership marks a milestone moment as Nelson Mullins is the first law firm to join NCPG since its founding 50 years ago.

Today, an estimated nine million adults in the United States suffer from gambling addiction or problem behaviors. There is currently a patchwork of state regulation, oversight, education, and funding to support problem gambling treatment or research, but no uniform legislation or federal oversight. NCPG and its members provide the resources and leadership needed to further cultivate awareness surrounding responsible gaming.
