The historic Avignonesi winery, founded in 1974 in Montepulciano and acquired in 2009 by Virginie Saverys, a Belgian entrepreneur who led the turning point towards an organic and biodynamic agriculture, has become a Benefit Society. To accompany Avignonesi in the new path of sustainability, was Studio Masotti Cassella. The     corporate vocation of Avignonesi, leader in the production of noble Tuscan wines, whose entrepreneurial activity now merges  with the search for the common benefit in a single business vision. The team led by partner Francesca Masotti and senior associate Matteo Castronovo assisted Avignonesi in adhering to the new legal model of which Italy is a pioneer in Europe. Thanks to this new status , companies now have the opportunity to affirm in the company statute, together with the pursuit of profit, objectives of common benefit  as constituent elements of the enterprise. In this way, Avignonesi sees his way of doing business recognized according to the Italian legal system , which combines the search for profit with the achievement of objectives of common benefit that has always been set and that have been made explicit in its statute.
