September 4, 2024 – DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Mauricio Valdespino and Edgar Romo have been named co-managing partners of the Mexico City office.
The two also serve as Latin America practice group regional co-leaders, with Valdespino working with the Corporate M&A group and Romo with the Finance group. Valdespino focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity, while Romo has deep experience in debt finance, project finance, and infrastructure.
Their appointment as co-managing partners is the next step in the growth of the firm’s Mexico City office, which comprises 50 lawyers across practices and industry sectors.
