DLA Piper Argentina has promoted two Senior Associates to Counsel: Florencia Fabio for the Litigation and Arbitration area [FF1] and Juan Pablo Reverendo for the Corporate and Transactional Law area.
The appointment of Juan Pablo Reverendo will be a great boost for the practice of Corporate Law, an area in which the firm is a leader in the market, with varied and renowned clients. On the other hand, the promotion of Florencia Fabio is excellent news for the Litigation and Arbitration area of DLA Piper Argentina, which seeks to offer the best dispute resolution strategies for companies.

Florencia Fabio graduated as a lawyer from the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and holds the title of Specialist in Civil Procedural Law, also from the University of Buenos Aires. He holds a Master’s Degree in Private International Law. He focuses his practice on complex litigation and compliance, advising national and international clients. He also advised on contract law and insurance.
Florencia has vast experience litigating some of the most prominent cases taking place in Argentina. She has intervened in national and international labor proceedings and arbitrations and served as legal advisor to some of the most important insurance companies in Argentina, carrying out judicial claims in the Commercial Courts and in several Provinces of Argentina.
Juan Pablo Reverendo graduated as a lawyer from Universidad Austral and has a postgraduate degree in Arbitration and another in Law and New Technologies, both from Universidad Austral. He specializes in Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Law, Venture Capital and Private Equity. He has extensive experience advising local and international clients in the corporate area and leads M&A and joint venture transactions, both in domestic and cross-border transactions.
Juan Pablo joined DLA Piper Argentina in November 2021 as an Associate, was promoted to Senior Associate in August 2022 and on January 1, 2024 was promoted again to the position of Counsel, on track to become a full partner of DLA Piper Argentina. Prior to joining DLA Piper, Juan Pablo advised start-ups in international venture capital rounds. Previously, he served as Legal Manager of the Southern Cone LatAm subsidiaries of Philip Morris International (NYSE PM), where he actively participated in some of the company’s most complex legal matters.
The appointments of Juan Pablo and Florencia are effective from January 1, 2024 and February 1, 2024, respectively.
