We are pleased to announce that the ranks of our equity partners have grown again after many years. Our long-time colleagues Peter RužiÄka and Peter Bartoš accepted the offer of the office and with it new challenges in their professional career, which undoubtedly includes the appointment to the position of the company’s procurators.
Peter Bartoš became a member of the RUŽIÄŒKA AND PARTNERS team in 2013. Since 2021, he has worked in the senior position of Counsel and since 2022 in the partner position. In total, he has 18 years of legal practice behind him. He works on mandates requiring cross-cutting knowledge of individual branches of law. He focuses mainly on infrastructure projects, public procurement, state aid and European Union funds law. During his work in the office so far, he has participated in most of the most important mandates in the field of public procurement, infrastructure projects. In addition to intensive project work, Peter actively participates in the office’s initiatives aimed at disseminating best practice in the field of public procurement, in the form of various educational events, but above all through the co-authorship of the large Commentary on the Public Procurement Act, which was published by the C.H.Beck publishing house in October 2019.
Peter RužiÄka has completed his entire legal practice of more than 15 years in our office. Since May 2023, he has held the senior position of Counsel. As part of his practice, he provides comprehensive advice in various legal areas. The focus of his professional focus is commercial law, commercial and civil-law obligations. He also deals with corporate law, real estate law and is also active in litigation. He was part of or led many important projects of the law firm in the field of commercial and corporate law, or in the field of real estate and construction. He also enjoys lecturing for clients of our office.
Jaroslav RužiÄka, managing partner of the firm, adds: “The company is not made up of buildings or capital, but above all people. It is therefore extremely important that these people are able to find space for self-realization and personal professional and professional growth in the company. I am therefore very pleased to welcome colleagues who started in junior positions years ago to our circle of equity partners. I believe that they will bring, so to speak, a fresh wind and new energy to the direction of our society.”
We would like to congratulate both Peters and wish them many successful years as partners in the RUŽIČKA AND PARTNERS team.
